Groupon: $40 for $100 at Shabby Apple

Are you familiar with Groupon? It's a site that offers daily deals (usually just one, maybe two) at a discount in a bunch of cities. I'm signed up to the Los Angeles and Orange County Groupons. It's great for getting deals at restaurants -- I once bought a Groupon deal for $40 worth of food and drinks for only $20. A certain number of people have to buy the deal for it to become effective.

Today the "side deal" in the Hampton Roads Groupon is for the online store Shabby Apple. The great thing is, you don't need to live in Hampton Roads to use it since the store is online.

Here's the deal: $40 for $100 Worth of Vintage-Inspired Clothing and Accessories from Shabby Apple

$96

The Bonheur
$76
(Bike and Paris not included although for $76 they should be. Ahem.)

La Tour Eiffel
$76
(Eiffel Tower not included. The humor is nonstop around here. What can I tell you?)
(Ceci n'est pas un bon marché.)

This link should take you to the Hampton Roads Groupon.
This link will take you directly to the Shabby Apple deal, which is $40 for $100 of merchandise.

So you could buy the CEO or Boss dress for 40 bucks and some change instead of $96 bucks and some change. It's like making your own sale.

Details on the Groupon:
Expires Jan 23, 2011
Limit two per person, may buy two additional as gifts. Limit one per visit. Shipping not included. Not valid with other offers or toward sale items. Valid for online purchases only. Valid for redemption 24 hours after purchase date. This deal cannot be used with other offers or toward sale items.

Here's an invite to Groupon or just go to their site and sign up (I don't think you need an invitation to sign up).

Shabby Apple is also having a 20% off promotion with code Summer20. (I don't think you can use this with the Groupon deal.) (Excludes Manhattan, Skyscraper, Bridemaid, Accessories) can't be combined with other offers.

Looks like you can use the 20% off on the sale section though.
